In addition to the stunning architecture of The Chateau Lambousa Hotel, the area of Lambousa itself possess a rich and fascinating history to discover. Fish tanks from the Roman an era constructed by cutting large rectangular pools into the rock can be viewed, along with the remains of the Roman harbour wall.
On leaving through the hotel’s back gates you’ll find yourself situated right in the centre of the popular Lapta Strip, where a wide variety of sea view restaurants are on offer, including The Calamari which serves up fantastic sea food and Mediterranean dishes. The Fly Inn and The Lodge are great for evening entertainment and an evening snack and for a relaxing coffee or a light lunch the popular Blue Song is the perfect choice. Should you wish to find some extra outdoor fun for the kids, just at reception for directions to Lapithos Water Park and The Wild Duck, both of which are just a five minute drive away!
The dolmus busses stop anywhere on this main road with a simple wave of your hand and you’ll find yourself in the centre of town within 20 minutes!

Holiday makers residing at Le Chateau Lambousa have the privilege of enjoying the amazing beach club just a stones throw away from the hotel. Plush sunbeds and lush cushioned cabanas adorn the golden sands of the beach that fringes the sea. The beach is popular with water sport enthusiasts due to the great facilities available and the beach bar can provide a cocktail to sip, whilst watching the sun set over the Mediterranean sea.
The Le Chateau Lambousa has two spectacular pools. The largest of which can be found directly outside the hotel building and due to way it curves around the spacious terraced area, guests can lie back and relax in the sun all day long! The sumptuous sun loungers, rattan day beds and sofa loungers are irresistibly indulging and you could easily spend a whole day reading a good book and enjoying some well-chosen tunes, whilst being served the hotel’s refreshing, traditional mint lemonade drinks. Their second pool is set back from the main building, within the centre of the bungalow area. It offers a quieter atmosphere as its mainly enjoyed by guests staying in the surrounding bungalows, as their garden terraces open straight onto the pool.
Bed and Breakfast with Half Board and All Inclusive upgrades are available for a supplement. The Hotel offers the choice of 2 restaurants on site. Sultan’s restaurant serves an open buffet of Turkish and International cuisine for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The North Shield Pub has a wide variety of beers, spirits and cocktails and a choice of snacks are available whilst watching your favourite football matches in this cosy, traditional English pub. Throughout the summer months, the delicious lunch menu can be enjoyed throughout the attractive and spacious outdoor terraces. Le Chateau Lambousa also has a pool side snack bar open during the summer season.
