The db San Antonio Hotel and Spa is a well-established all-inclusive resort in the heart of Qawra, set back from the sea but with spectacular views across St Paul's Bay. With over 500 Moorish-inspired rooms and suites, it is one of the largest hotels in Malta and offers a broad range of facilities to suit couples, families and groups travelling at any time of year. The hotel's entertainment team runs a full programme of daytime activities and evening shows, and the Pearl Spa and four pools give guests plenty of options throughout their stay.
For those wanting to get to the sea, the hotel sits adjacent to Nine Lives — a lovely beach club on Perched Beach in St Paul's Bay — where guests can enjoy sunbeds and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. Please note that Nine Lives is an independent venue, so services there fall outside the all-inclusive package.

Qawra is an excellent base for exploring the best of Malta, and the db San Antonio's central location makes getting around straightforward. The Malta National Aquarium is just a short walk from the hotel and is well worth a visit for families. The nearby Bugibba Waterfront is a pleasant area for an evening stroll, with a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
For a fuller taste of Malta's history, Valletta — the capital city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site — is around 20 minutes by bus and easily managed as a day trip. The ancient walled city of Mdina, the prehistoric Ggantija Temples and the dramatic Azure Window area in Gozo are all accessible and make for memorable excursions. Dining at the db San Antonio is one of the hotel's strongest selling points.
